Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work (such as restaurant photographs, menu graphics, or event media) is being displayed on Desi Guide without authorization, please submit a written notification containing all of the following statutory elements:

1A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list).
3Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access disabled, including the exact URL(s) on desi.guide.
4Information reasonably sufficient to permit Desi Guide to contact you, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If your listing or content was removed as a result of a DMCA notice and you believe this was done in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notification to our Designated Agent.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking an injunction within 10 to 14 business days, we will restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Desi Guide maintains a strict policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users or merchants who are deemed repeat copyright infringers.
